Ottawa police arrest a suspect in a shooting on Woodroffe Avenue last summer, but said Wednesday they continue to search for a second man.
Joseph Madore was taken into custody on Tuesday. The police guns and gangs unit is still searching for Abraham Bihi, who is described as armed and dangerous.
Police received numerous 911 calls about a shooting in the Woodroffe Avenue-Navahoe Drive area last Aug. 26 around 2:30 a.m. A short while later a 25-year-old man showed up at hospital with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.
Anyone with information is asked to call Ottawa police’s guns and gangs unit at 613 231-1222 extension 5050.
