Ottawa police are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect in a weekend break and enter at an east-end long-term care home.
Police said the break-in happened around 10:57 p.m. on Saturday at an office inside the residence, located on the 700 block of Montreal Road.
A male suspect allegedly made off with an unspecified amount of cash.
The suspect is described as white, in his early 50s and about 5-10. Police said he wore prescription glasses, has brown hair and a moustache.
Anyone with information regarding this break and enter, or any other break and enter, is asked to call the Ottawa police’s break and enter unit at 613-236-1222, ext. 3515. Anonymous tips can be submitted by calling Crime Stoppers toll-free at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), or by downloading the Ottawa police app.
The Ottawa Police Service is investigating a recent commercial break and enter and is seeking the public’s assistance to identify the suspect responsible.
