You have to pay taxes according to the regular price, not the price after mail-in rebate

$30 * 15% = $4.5
$30 + $4.5 = $34.5 -$30(mail in rebeat) = $4.5

The router which sold as $0.99 after rebate ($29.99 - $29) is just a crap. This is the link:

I do not recommend this. It is not stable, needs reset every a couple of hours if the traffic is high. I bought one myself, but can only use it as a switch. I am not sure if the rebate cheque will eventually come, but 30 bulks for a 4-port switch is still not bad.

I have never seen a SMC router goes for $30 before rebate. I saw it was after rebate.

Basically, you get what you paid for.

really? yes, sometime it is disconect, but just a few time, I thought it is bell problem. but also I do not have high traffic

for PMC router, yes, it is after rebeat, half year ago, you can get it less than $30 after rebeat,

one month ago, SMC wireless router and card only $60 after rebeat

My hi-speed connection is Sympatico (BELL), and router is DLINK. There was only one time I had to reboot (power off, then on) the router during the past 5 months.

If you want to know the router is good or not, try to open a lot of BT streams, and do audio/video conversation and file transfer with MSN Messenger.
