Higher-risk public settings where proof of vaccination is required in:
Restaurants, bars, and other food and drink establishments without dance facilities (including dine-in indoor food courts, breweries, wineries): indoor areas (excluding delivery and takeout)
Restaurants, bars, and other food and drink establishments with dance facilities, including nightclubs and restaurants, clubs and other similar establishments: indoor and outdoor areas (excluding delivery and takeout)
Meeting and event spaces (including banquet halls, conference and convention centres): indoor areas regardless of capacity and outdoor areas that have a usual capacity of 20,000 or more persons
Facilities used for sports and recreational fitness activities(including gyms, fitness/sporting/recreational facilities, pools, leagues, sporting events, waterparks, indoor areas of facilities where spectators watch events, and facilities where personal physical fitness training instruction is provided): indoor areas regardless of capacity and outdoor areas that have a usual capacity of 20,000 or more persons
Casinos, bingo halls, and other gaming establishments: indoor areas
Concert venues, theatres, and cinemas: indoor areas regardless of capacity and outdoor areas that have a usual capacity of 20,000 or more persons
Bathhouses, sex clubs and strip clubs: indoor areas
Horse racing tracks, car racing tracks and other similar venues: indoor areas regardless of capacity and outdoor areas that have a usual capacity of 20,000 or more persons
Commercial film and TV productions with studio audiences: indoor areas, excluding cast and crew
All other public health measures remain in effect such as masking, capacity limits, screening, physical distancing and contact tracing, as required.
Places that may opt-in to proof of vaccination requirements
Settings that can choose to require proof of vaccination:
Personal care services (e.g., barber shops, salons, body art);
Indoor areas of museums, galleries, aquariums, zoos, science centres, landmarks, historic sites, botanical gardens and similar attractions;
Indoor areas of amusement parks;
Indoor areas of fairs, rural exhibitions, festivals;
Indoor tour and guide services;
Boat tours;
Indoor areas of marinas and boating clubs;
Indoor clubhouses at outdoor recreational amenities;
Open house events provided by real estate agencies;
Indoor areas of photography studios and services and;
Indoor recreational amenities
Each day the above place of business or facility is open to the public, they may elect to opt-in to proof of vaccination requirements. The proof of vaccination requirements are in effect for the duration of the day that the facility has elected to opt-in. During the period when the facility elects to opt-in, members of the public are not required to maintain a distance of at least two metres from others within the business/facility. During the period the business/facility opts-in, the person responsible for the business/facility must post signs at all entrances to the business/facility, in a conspicuous location visible to the public, that informs patrons that proof of vaccination is required in order to enter the premises.
