瑞银分析人士认为:假如比亚迪海豹在欧洲工厂生产,扣掉节省下来的的欧盟汽车进口关税后,生产的成本仍然将比从中国出口该汽车的成本高出10%。瑞银说:“我们的结论是,即使贸易壁垒不断增加,比亚迪仍比传统竞争对手具有持续25%的成本优势。”瑞银预计到2030年,大众、本田、雷诺和沃尔沃等传统汽车制造商将失去20%以上的市场份额,因为比亚迪等中国电动汽车正在生产已经便宜25%的汽车。欧洲汽车制造商将遭受最大的市场份额损失,而中国汽车制造商的占全球整体市场份额将从2022年的17%增长到2030年的33%。
