<HTML>I have a friend taking some MBA courses in OU. He likes it and think he learns from the program. I think that really counts. It's true OU MBA does not rank as high as Western Ontario. I don't think it really sucks.It depands on your personal goals and current status.</HTML>

Yes Canada, low level MBA
<HTML>Don't mix it up with the authentic MBA of University of Ottawa. They are absolutely 2 different things.
I heard Yes Canada ONLY focused on mainland Chinese and was pure money oriented (cooperated with an immigration agent). The whole class consists of Chinese. No GMAT or TOEFL is needed. The most terrible thing is, when you pass by their classroom, you can hear very loud and noisy Chinese making you wonder if you were in China. You think this kind of MBA is worth studying?</HTML>

Do they really know what they expect to learn from this programe. their purpose maybe just need that a piece of paper to please family or firends or flatter themselves. or try to find other way to stay in Canada.
I really hope Canadian Embrassy can open the door for chinese, So we won't spend all our time and money in these called "Gold land" contry.</HTML>

<HTML>OU MBA team won several high places in the '99, '00, '01 Canada MBA competition (with Western, U of toronto, McMaster, etc. anticipated). And most of the part time MBA students all have good jobs from high-tech sections and government with countable working experiences, some of them are already doing management jobs (you can see some Chinese among them as well). Might be they have no choice other than OU to do their MBA while working at Ottawa? GMAT do required for regular and parttime MBA candidates, and it is not low. If you ever listen to OU MBA presentations, nobody will think those students are garbage. They need to do research and presentation almost every module.
But I don't know about YES Canada though. A friend studys at OU once mentioned to me that he heard some Chinese students were caught for cheating during the exam. If that was true, you may need to think about taking Yes Canada second time. Those things are too easy to get, might not be good.</HTML>

I don't now why this is so difficult for people to understand, but there is a reason why many Chinese MBA graduates don't get jobs in Canada ... it's called language skills. I am an MBA grad and from my experience it was very clear that most Chinese students had a very difficult time with the English language. This is not a slight, it is a fact and should be recognized by all of you who are complaining. If you want to succeed, unfortunately you will have to try harder than others who are native speakers of the language. Is that unfair?

Do not trust Yes Canada Program, which is not regular MBA. Futhermore, the courses and professors in Yes Canada are different with that in regular. You could not learn anythings in Yes Canada because all students in this program are Chinese and came from China without any experenices.
