but this is my problem from Jan. 1. I tried to start my Volvo 740 GLE (1986)in the morning. The car started but shut itself down within 1 minute. I thought it was out of gas so I added gas. But it could not start. I also tried jump start. It had no effect. When I tried to start, you can here the engine turning but you could not make it running.
would you pls help any analysis the problem. Thank you very much.

Thanks again and you were right. It was the gas pump. I found one from the junk yard, $120. If it were the new one, at least $400.
I will pick up the car tomorrow morning.
