我的观点是：
中国人作为少数民族生活在加拿大，我们首先应该尊重这儿的法律，和各其他民族和平共处，并积极参与加拿大的建设。因为这是我们的第二祖国。但一旦我们中的某个人甚至于整个族类遭受某种不公平待遇时，就当奋起捍卫上帝赋予我们每个人的平权。权利是没有人会拱手相予的，只有去积极争取才有希望。所以我总有一个想法：就是能不能把我们所有生活在OTTAWA的中国人团结在一起，不论他来自大陆还是台湾香港或其他地方，只要是中国人。事实上你不想归到这类里都不行，因为其他族类早把你归进来了。团结在一起才能够发出一种强有力的共同的声音。才能够使社会感觉到华人是一支建设加拿大不可或缺的力量。也许有难度，但我认会只要努力，大家彼此包容，终究会达成共识的。社会文明发展到今天，一些丑陋的声音和事情还时有发生。我们这么做只求能更好地保护我们族类的应有权利，也更有利于与其他族类友爱相处，和更好地在参与加拿大建设活动中发挥作用。

Currently, it's impossible for anyone unite all chinese together.
<HTML>Especailly, Chinese from Mailand of China is in a worst position to do so.
How to change the situation? There is no short-cut way.
It cannot happen naturally but it may be possible when most of us working toward to the same direction.

Nobody here 逼着别人喜欢自己, it is quite normal that there come some arguments between clients and grocers but that is not relevant to where clients come from.
I ever argued with natives here too, but no one said anything in terms of my race.
Racism really sucks. That grocer deserves punishment.

What you should have done was to fight back right away and pointed out what he said was close to racism. If he did not appologize to you, you could ask people around you to be the witness.
You have to eat it this time because you were too polite at that time. No case lah...... Learn the lesson and try to fight back right away next time. You may lose but your courterpart won't dare to cross the line again next time.
