渥太华是世界上生活指数最低的城市之一

一项以大城市为对象的国际调查研究发现，渥太华是世界上生活指数最低的城市之一。

默瑟人力资源顾问公司的调查结果显示，渥太华在一百四十四座大城市中排一百二十九位。

在调查研究涉及的五座加拿大城市之中，渥太华生活指数最低，而多伦多的生活指数最高，在全球调查结果中排第一百零四位。温哥华排一百一十位，卡加利和满地可分别排一百一十六位和一百二十位。

今年的调查研究结果显示，香港在生活指数方面超过东京，高踞全球榜首。生活指数最低的是南非的约翰尼斯堡（Johannesburg）。

上述调查研究把纽约的生活指数订为一百分，作为基准。

渥太华的评分是五十二点五。香港则得到一百二十四点二分，那大约等于约翰尼斯堡之三十四点四分的三点五倍。

今年的调查研究发现，纽西兰和澳洲的城市生活指数低而生活质素高。

上述调查研究比较了那些大城市的二百多种生活开销，包括住屋、伙食、衣服、家庭用品、交通和娱乐等方面的开销。得出的数据有助于企业机构确定要给派往外国工作的雇员多少生活津贴。

it doesn't have all the glitz of the big cities
it makes up for that
in the canal and the rivers
in the hills and the vallesy
in the sky and breezes
in the integrity of the people
i use to complain about the life being too dull here
i want to go out and search for an exciting new world
but then i realized
its my life
and i choose how i live
excitment is made by yourself
afterall, things happens because of people
and you are your own people

in time
slowly
slowly
without even realizing
i've come to love this place
ottawa is my surragate home
not my only home
but my home nonetheless
where i grew up
where i became me
which is why i'm proud to say
i am CHINADIAN

and I LOVE OTTAWA

but again life is in your control

还是比较喜欢ottawa的生活的。
城市整的太大不好，节奏太快或者
太繁华也不好。

至少和上海比，我更喜欢OTTAWA。
