你这样认为是太绝对了. You need to analyze their plans, not just decide by your impression or someone else's comments.

Take NDP as an example, yes, they want to hike tax on rich people and spend more money on the poor, but will that be feasible and sustainable in the long run? How can they balance the so-called "equality" and growth of economy?

Higher corporate tax and higher tax on capital gains will scare away businesses and investors and finally, it will hurt the poor due to less jobs. Unfortunately, the poor is the most vulnerable because to them, eventually, higher tax doesn't translate into skipping a cruise vacation like it would do to the rich, it's their livelihood at stake.

Step 1. Make Liberal a minority to teach them a lesson on democracy and corruption. Since Minority Government will not last for long (last one 1979, Joe Clark, 7 Month)...

Step 2. Vote Liberal back to power in the second election.

A good party should put economy ahead of everything (just as what CCP is doing in China). As for health and education, I would say that more money is the last thing that health and education need if the whole system is not re-examined. Do you know how many people take advantage of the health system? I once read an article in Ottawa Citizen that implied that 20% of people used 80% of the health resources, and Canadian doctors and nurses are always crying wolf for the lack of money, but in fact, if we can improve the efficiency only 5% percent, Canada can save billions of $$$. As for education, the rule Ontario governemnt makes that each class for grade 1 to 3 should cap students to 20 is ridiculous and in fact if the cap can move to 23, we in Ontario may not have to pay additional health premium.

Anyway, Liberal really sucks, I will not hesitate to vote for Conservative Party.

这倒是，反正一人就一票嘛，如果你已经定下来投别的党了，确实不能勉强嘛。
不过，我还是要为保守党说一句，这么多年来，自由党已经站在台上太久了，第二次魁北克独立投票不能不说是自由党党首Chretien的责任，高昂的税率也是自由党落实的。而且年初的赞助丑闻也是自由党的事情。最近的事情：安省开始征收健康费（与此同时一些项目如眼科检查开始不再被OHIP包括！），也是自由党的省长违背竞选时的诺言。高税收，哪里来的高福利？为什么不把这些放开到市场内运作？
这一切，都使我们，尤其是安省、魁省的公民，不能不静下来想想，if we want a better nation, why liberal? why not Conservative?
