保险费涨了!

收到了Renew的信, 我的保险费从$70/mo 变为 $79/mo. 我用的是Monnex的CU group. 我没有任何不良记录，就连Parking ticket都没吃过，并且几个月前还考了G. 但保费还是涨了．大家都是这样吗?

当然不是这样啦! 从来没有这么便宜的保险! 好羡慕~~

不会吧,便宜是因为我的车已经十一年了,并且是最基本的那种保险.我觉得不应该涨了,但还是给涨了.

羡慕你啊。我和你的情况完全一样，93年的车，G牌，Monnex CU group。无不良记录。保费从＄46涨到了＄65, 超过32％。

还问啥呀，换公司吧。Monnex 是最差劲的保险公司之一了。

还有楼上提到的 Tony yau 都是不错的选择。

Anybody found better alternative to Monnex?

I have exactly the same problem, my premium just increased over 10% (Monnex, CU group). I called several other companies in these days,the Personal quoted $100/Mo, Carleton Insurance Brokers quoted 120/mo, Tony You's representative said he is not taking new clients, the Corporators booked an appointment which is a month away for me. I am frustrated in looking for new insurances, anybody have good advices?

I am frustrated in looking for new insurances, anybody have good advices?

我的情况和你一模一样!看来我的今年也得涨了.是考虑该换保险公司了.

BTW,你有没有考G后给保险公司打电话告诉他们呢?他们当时没有告诉你会不会涨吗?

BTW,你有没有考G后给保险公司打电话告诉他们呢?他们当时没有告诉你会不会涨吗?

打了电话,我还问了能不能降保费,当时他们说不能马上给我降费,要等到Renew时如果没有别的不良记录,可能会降点. 但现在收到信却说要涨...

This is insane, they should reduce your premium from the day you got your G.
As I know most company increase their prices, but some do decrease. The worst thing is, even they lower premium for their current clients, they charge much higher for new clients. This is only my personal experience, I really hope somebody can find a better one and share his/her experience with us.

我的涨得很少，现在单险90多，看来你的不错了。

我也用的是Monnex的CU group，3年多前加入的，虽然我早已不是CU的学生，只要不换公司还享受学生group待遇.这两年都是年年降，两辆车今年降了200多。可能你们是单身学生的原因。
