TD Visa company sucks!!!

Usually the credit card companies have a good process to protect the card holders. If you inform the credit card company in writing that you did not make this purchase or authorized anybody to make this purchase, the credit card company must request the merchant (the store that charged you) to show proof of your purchase, i.e, your signature on the sale slip. Usually this only takes about 45 days.

If by the end of this period the merchant failed to show the proof, then the credit card company will credit your account for that amount and any interest associated.

Are you sure it's the merchant (I guess it's the store) fails to show the proof (my signature and transferring copy) that I have to pay it, not the store???
I think that if the store fails to prove that I did shopping, then I don't pay it, neither the credit company, am I right?

As for second time I asked to close my account, but I was told my balance had to be 0 (which means that I have to pay it no matter what it is) and inactivited for half year. I've been dealing with TD Visa for half years, now I'm trying to contact the store to see if I can get some information.

When I asked to close my RBC Visa, I didn't need to have "0" balance and no activity for 6 month. That's ridicule. They just send me a final statement. Of course, there may be outstanding transactions, but you should always be able to close your account right away.
