Gas range hard to clean mah? I don't know yah, ours is cleaned by my LP:smokin:
TuTu and 8J, if the house is not gas ready, you may end up paying 150-200 to extend the gas pipe. On top of that, for the gas range, you have to pay at least $80 just for hooking up the gas range with the pipe, bylaw, it needs to be done by a certified technician...Sears charges 120 (or 150) to hook up the range...Our bigeest burner is 15,000, not as strong as I thought of...
Oh I don't know there are cookware just for gas range. My cookware are mostly hard-anodized, they heat up slower than normal cookware, but I can't tell any difference.
Areas around the burners are particularly hard to clean, you really need to scrap the grease and dirt out with a steel ball.
I had the gas rough-in in my kitchen done by builder, I believe it was $100. Sears charged me $100 just for the hookup, because it must be done by a liscensed electrician.
don't know if ceran is suitable for our chinese style cooking  who use ne, say say
no want to buy gas range, if ceran de or whatever smooth cooking top de no good, i jiu buy zui cheap de le
What is Zao4 Qi4?
My gas range is ceran cooktop ah. I don't know the difference between ceran and glass, they look the same to me. Ceran is supposed to be easier to clean than porcelain (tang ci), which I agree.
Zui cheap de is dian re si de, no good, bottom of pots always gets black, hard to clean. Gas range is much superior in this sense. I hardly use steel ball to clean my pots and pans anymore, because the bottom does not touch the burner. I do use steel ball to clean the cooktop though.
