JDS 公司大楼群紧贴着Heavenlea and Minto's Champ Mills. 加拿大国防部准备接手这个可容纳8000员工的Complex (谈判进行中)。这对Barhaven新区的居民来说绝对是利多于蔽，是利好消息
(1)6000员工在此上班，肯定会刺激这里的房价。
(2)飞机航线会有少许调整。现在是直接在JDS上天飞过。

The informaiton is old. DND will NOT move to JDS since that is the ex-DM's idea... BTW, DND has much more than 8000 employees...

住Barhaven去东边或西边上班都容易，去downtown更不说了。如果住在东边，工作在西边，每天得横穿OTTAWA两次了。

(1) Ottawa 最大的 builder 是谁？
(2) 最大的 builder 都在那里盖房?

大 builder 总会进行社区设计,还有,小builder 在买地的时候,就是爱靠在大builder, 跟近点没有错

如果买旧房,可能选择多点

Indigo 今年秋季将在RioCan 开张，就在Walmart那块。和那个新的电影院一起。

好的咖啡店，自然会跟着Indigo 来的。

不过听说Standhurd上面的Steamer不错。在新的Esso边上。据说老板直接从南美某种植园进咖啡豆，在多伦多附近新鲜烘烤的。我还没去试过，家里很多咖啡豆还吃不完呢。

从Barrhaven到Chinatown，也不过25分钟最多了吧
所以到downtown，半个小时左右也差不多了

I've been there several times last year, I really liked the community. But it is too close to a cemetery, so I gave it up.

Barrhaven has been developed very quickly, and some chainstores open a store in that location and Kanata as well, such as Super C and Price Chopper...This can demonstrate that Barrhaven and Kanata are the most-populated areas in Ottawa... So, if you live there, you will enjoy the convinience of shopping..
