I've been there several times last year, I really liked the community. But it is too close to a cemetery, so I gave it up.

This map only shows the bigger cemeteries, not counting numerous small ones across the city.

Where in Ottawa is far away from cemetery?

downtown? did you know parts of the roads and parking lots in downtown were converted from cemeteries and still have skeletons down there deep somewhere?

好的咖啡店，自然会跟着Indigo 来的。

不过听说Standhurd上面的Steamer不错。在新的Esso边上。据说老板直接从南美某种植园进咖啡豆，在多伦多附近新鲜烘烤的。我还没去试过，家里很多咖啡豆还吃不完呢。

从Barrhaven到Chinatown，也不过25分钟最多了吧
所以到downtown，半个小时左右也差不多了

STEAMER一开张，我们就去了。咖啡一般般。有BM卖，出奇的淡。咖啡种类也不是很
多。有一种特色蛋糕很好吃，后来也不见了。而且他们的DECAF不明写是SWP的。
有其他的选择，是不会坐那的。后来，MERIVALE的SECOND CUP新开了一家，天天去
了一段时间后，发现OWNER比较不爱开灯，而且比较PUSHING。现在还是千里迢迢的
去BRIDGEHEAD。BARHAVEN最不满意的就是找个舒服的地方坐了。其他的，真是不错。

To the best of my knowledge, there is no residence close to the cemetery on Hwy 16.

I guess cy25915 was talking about Findely Creek, not Barrheaven.

I think I was talking about stonebridge community. I had been to three builders' sale office: Uniform, Cardel,Monarch. They all had a big lot plan map which was showed there is a cemetary just right outside of community. Some of the single houses back yards just toward this cemetary .

lots, lots of Chinese living there

more than half of Chinese I know live there.

so I believe sooner or later you will see new Chinese restaurant and Chinese grocery store there.

School won't be too bad with such high Chinese population there, I think

Barrhaven has been developed very quickly, and some chainstores open a store in that location and Kanata as well, such as Super C and Price Chopper...This can demonstrate that Barrhaven and Kanata are the most-populated areas in Ottawa... So, if you live there, you will enjoy the convinience of shopping..

Where is Price Chopper? Is it the same lower price as Super C?

I think Price Chopper is located in the Bells Corner... I don't know whether its price is higher or lower than Super C's.

并不是所有的BARRHAVEN区整天有飞机的，要看房子是否在飞机的跑线上。
我朋友住在SOUTHKEY，一早就有飞机声。
所以，只要不在跑线上，买BARRHAVEN无所谓，不会有干扰。我家很“写意”，看着蓝天，白云，和远处的飞机，却没有飞机声。 ：-）

I have two co-workers live in Barheven, they are always late in winter, especially when it snows, traffic is bad. And one of them said their baby's first word is WENG WENG, too many air planes passing by.

Sounds like airplane is a big problem in some area. But the seller will never tell you the truth.So do some research before you buy it.

I am quite confident that by the day the airport is moved to other place and the light rail is built to this area, the price will jump.But you got to wait some decades...
