most impressive building of Ancient America.

as a center of worship to Quetzalcoatl, the Aztec god of the sky and

wind, the creative forces, and the Breath of Life.

To exit the hallway, our catwalkers pass through an

Aztec star embedded in their own gold-leafed Pyramid of the Sun.

The cryptic skull-and-crossbones opening provides

passage into the Cats-Only Clubhouse―an eerie green illuminated room

built into the top of the closet. This is our cats' private

retreat,:bounce: their place to kick legs into the air , let

fur down, and swap tails.
