As far as I know, most houses in Hull contain more than one appartment.

You are wrong. They are not houses. They are still appartment buildings even if they are quite small compared with the large ones. The appartments in such a building have separate entrances, and for sure, in your case, should have separate hydro meters.

那就等分开后的第一个月他的电费来判断
当然，前提是不让他知道，或者他不故意节省

我觉得搂住还是先找个专业人士看看你家的电线分布吧~也许你的邻居真的是不知道~你也说过你们都是租的房子~
这么一上来就说别人偷你家的电也太没有证据了~~毕竟要是这么做的话我觉得改线的工程也不小吧？我建议你还是先找房东问问~~然后找电力公司的人过来看一下~你也说是个house~~可能是你的房东当时把房子分成好几个单元的时候走线走错了也说不定~
