Don't worry about your bayby's size. The Ultra Sound is not always correct. There was a discussion in 亲亲宝贝, some sisters were told that the babies were about 6 pounds, in fact they were more than 8 pounds! Take care of yourself.

Get some rest and save energy. Good luck on you! Share your experience afterwards.

Thank you for your comfort. My problem is that I have been having too many contractions since I was 20 something weeks pregnant.
You guys take good care of yourself, relax.

Playpen's price ranges from below $100 to above $200 (the fancy ones), you can find it in Zellers, Sears, Walmart, Toysrus, and etc.

I got a very simple one at home, and it is quite useful these days. My daughter just turned 9 months this week, and she is crawling all over the place (especially the places you don't want her to be), she manages to pull up in high chair and swing even with the buckle on. So when I have to do something like answering the phone, I'd put her inside the playpen. But to be sure, she doesnot like to be there, it is like a little "prison" to her and she protests all the time

Bassinnet is very cute, and the size fits perfectly for newborn. However, baby will outgrow it so fast, it's probably a waste of money. Besides, have you heard of SIDS (sudden infant death syndrome), because bassinnet is covered all around like a basket, baby may suffocate, another reason for not consider it. Playpen should be fine for small to larger baby, but your back may hurt a little since it is kind of deep when you put the baby in. The Bay has a nice one, it was 20% off last week, not sure about now.

Personally, I think crib is good enough if you won't be doing much travelling, for new born up to a couple of years old, and you can raise the bed level up or down...and then you can get a nice changing pad from Toys R Us ($30 or so), use it on top of any counter in your place, that saves the cost of buying a change table.

There're way too many commercial products outthere, make the best judgement for your little one and your economic range. :lookaroun

No, I don't have a Jolly Jumper. I have a saucer though. She used to like it very much, but now, exploring seems to be her main mission. She also loves to pull up in her crib, and moves one or two steps sometimes, then sit down, crawl a little bit, then pull up again...she can keep on this sequence for up to an hour I am afraid she may be able to walk in one or two months, isn't it too early for her?

I try to do chores when she takes her naps. As the weather is quite warm now, I take her outside once or twice a day, and she absolutely loves it!

对小孩子来说,10个月走路都是正常的,不过家居一定要做好安全措施才行.Such as swing gate,locking the drawers,store all dangerous stuff...

现在天气那麽好,我几乎每天上午都带儿子去附近的公园,打秋千,滑梯等,晒晒阳光也蛮好的.

I just entered my last trimester, (yeppie!) I constantly feel hungry, and I eat a lot more than before...

Good for you. I seldom feel hungry. Maybe that's why my baby is smaller. Eat whenever you want and do a little bit exercises.

I feel the same way about kicking! I call it the pre-motherhood enjoyments! I sleep soso at night, lots of backache, the pillows doesn't help now...don't feel sad, although it is caused by the hormone, but come to this forum for support!

Reminder to all moms: don't forget to start counting your baby movements after 28th week!
早晚各数一次，不管是很明显的踢脚，或是不明显的swooshes，算计一下十次movements的时间，记载下来。有时宝宝不合作，喝一杯牛奶，吃一些甜点，准妈妈精坐下来继续数 - 如果十次movements要两小时以上，最好是联系你的护理医生。
