Lesson learned - don't leave things until the last minute

I went with a friend for his G test today @ tremblay. His license expired in April, but he got an extension because he couldn't get a test booking until June, but in June when he drove his friend's car for the test, the examiner said the car was unqualified because of a crack on the window. So they extended his license again and booked him for today. We went at the appointed time of 10:10AM, but when we got there he was told he was booked for 9:10AM and therefore missed his appointment. A $25 fine was given and since they no longer give license extensions, he was given 2 options: 1.Wait until Dec to take G, should he fail, he'd have to take the G1, G2 and G all over again. 2. Take G1 again tomorrow, pass and get another 5 year extension on his license to take G. Anyway he choose option 2 but it's a whole lot of trouble, not to mention the loss of $$$, with that $25 fine and a $40 license renewal fee and $50 for taking G1 again.

人淡如菊虽然有G照，但没有随身携带。驾车回家的路上，被警察抓住。无照驾驶。更糟糕的是，没有在72小时之内去警察局出示驾照，所以给了一个犯罪记录。并被罚款而且还得支付警察的拖车费用（无照不能驾驶）。
