Why not? The government won't give you much benefit while having any ASSET.

Then I can not understand leh...you mean cash is not asset, property is...

Does that imply you are going to lie to the government for the 'benifit'? cash is easy to hide by the way...

6年涨30%就不合算了，算算mortage交了多少利息？如果那钱拿去投资，一年5%收益，六年利滚利都34%.

You might also want to include the higher salary costs (basic salary raise), the higher transportation cost (higer fuel prices). More houses requires renovations (more families, more houses)... These are irrelavant to house prices.
