Hi Everyone,
There is some water leaking right under the furnace. My guess is that it might be caused by the thunder storm last night. Does anyone else have similar situation? I guess I have to call Direct Energy and suspect will face a hefty bill. If I sign up for the protection plan, will I be covered right away? Their term and condition says it takes 10 days to take effect after sign up. But in practice, do you really have to wait that long? I know for Bell phone service, when there is a broken line in the house, they'd recommend you sign up for a protection plan first instead of paying the guy a lumpsum.
Any kind of input will be appreciated.......
