What you all being saying is pure bullshit. In fact, Yao's first car is a freaking TOYOTA (model SEQUOIA). He got it when he first came to the states. Now the car is driving by his parents, only after he has moved on to BMW. So this indicates both him and his parents don't hate TOYOTAs.

BMW is a premium luxury brand, and TOYOTA is not high class. He did not accept to represent TOYOTA could simply mean he does not want to be associated with a lower product image.

You guys are simply reading too much into politics, and please get on with your real lives.
