Dump him as a pursuer:
hurt him not just once, but more than twice, give him a wake up call by telling simple reason, for example------ I don't like your eyes.

Break up as ex-BF:
tell him, may be we shall try something new, and tell him that you already move on.

Divorce
tell him you will appeal your right of taking a portion of your property.
