搬来渥太华之前必读
真诚建议: 在来渥太华之前, 请找一份联邦政府的工作 (必须是 permanent position or indeterminate position, 切记 term position 绝对不能要)。
After you have made the move, please make sure your family is doing all the best to integrate into the Canadian culture, or let me say it bluntly -- the Westerner culture, or to be more specific, the "White people" culture. That means, from that point onward, your family should only make "White people" friends, speak only either English or French, cut your family off from all of the Chinese heritage, don't bother to send your children to Chinese school, and to always remind yourself that everyone in your family is determined to become a Canadian, not a Chinese-Canadian.
What I see here in Ottawa is that people who are still hanging on too much to their Chinese past are deeply regretted their decision to move to Ottawa, as this place is totally different than anywhere in China. This reality makes our fellow Chinese friends very difficult to adjust their new life in Ottawa and therefore bitterness starts growing in their hearts.
If you and your family simply want to become citizens in Canada and still want live 100% in Chinese style, then please consider moving to Toronto or GTA (Greater Toronto Area), where the IT industry, which you have been talking about, is always the hottest in Canada.
However, if your family knows what you want, and have a clear vision about why you want to move to Ottawa and have a feasible plan to make it work, then Ottawa welcomes you and your family.
The bottom line is: we don’t want to see your family regrets the decision of moving to Ottawa, especially a few years after the fact. And what make it worse is: your family may no longer has the energy, money and other resources to move away, and therefore, being stuck in here.

谢谢你的鼓励,我们会直面的,而且,我LG也破釜沉舟的说,走吧,我们,不要回头!
