CAN MY SON GO TO SCHOOL IN STATES

MY SON IS 12 YEARS OLD AND IS CANADIAN CITIZEN. HIS GRANDPARENTS ARE IN STATES. I WANT SEND HIM GO TO STATES. DOSE HE NEED SPECIAL VISA TO ENTRE THE STATES AND CAN HE GO TO SCHOOL HERE.

I think any kid locating inside USA border can go to USA schools, and that even includes illegal alien children.

From statistics, USA's public schools are overcrowded and they had spent $5 billion in 2000 to educate illegal alien children in the national's seven states with the highest concentration of illegal aliens.

According to a report, more than 25% of children in LA school district are illegal aliens.

The children described in that statistics are illegal aliens themselves.

In USA, there's a famous law called "No Child Left Behind Act" signed in January 2002, stating that local governments are "required" to provide a free K-12 (Kindergarten to Gr 12) education for "any child, regardless of immigration status". (States vary though coz some States are heavy victim so they are suing the US government for this)

I saw tv news talking about that some time ago: Central American kids went there to go to school. But of course the US government can send them back to their own countries, but it just takes time, so they can still enjoy their education.
