法语还是错, mon dieu! 我无语了.

拜托请大家先说好中文, 再好好打磨英语, 再去搞法语,西语,意大利语... 天天看到一大堆人叫着学法语,学法语,中文英文都错误百出,口音重的让人听了都难受, 学得好才怪呢.

此人得辩论水平还停留再文革时期，听到两句跟自己意见不同得， 送给别人“叛徒”“内奸”“工贼”的称号。他的思维中，凡是不帮LZ说话的人，都是眼镜店打工的。呵呵。

owner对于自己的物业有解释权。此停车场属于私人领地，他们有权给罚单。但这家店唯一误导的是中文名字起的一样。罚单不应该100%是楼主的责任。

话说回来：开罚单是商店的权利，而你有抗拒罚单的权利。可以选择上庭。在这里抹黑人家不是很光彩。我再quote楼主的一句话“I assumed they were the same business with the same manager.”。所以结论是，这个帖子里的个人观点太多。看起来太主观。不够公正。文章里还有多处笔误 saleman/salemen是什么意思。我从来没看到过这个单词。

这两家店可不是一家，同行是冤家，抢注同一个店名的店是你死我活的大冤家。对对方的顾客当然要不讲手段尽力打击。不过还好，他没有叫拖车直接拖走，在本地打击对方顾客的最常用手段。

Canadian business usually like to keep a good public relation image. It is very rude to do what Laurier Optical is doing. To be honest, will you park your car in the parking lot of one business and get into its competitor’s if you know that they are not in good term? I won’t take that risk! I believe hhh07 was making a honest mistake. If I’m the owner I would just notify the customer and try to win her (may be her friends' too) business. This make good business sense. This is not a issue of right or wrong, but does it make sense in a long run.

错！老＂真光＂曾是Laurier Optical的一个连锁店， 老板好象姓池（？）。合同到期后，池老板不再延续与Laurier Optical合同,搬出原店址，开办了现在的真光（TRI OPTICAL）。＂真光＂被池老板注册。那时还不存在这家叫LAURIER OPTICAL的店。后来这家叫LAURIER OPTICAL的店突然出现，也挂出＂真光＂。这给人的感觉是仗势欺人。你想自己开业，看砸！够狠。也够不光彩，见不得人。更令人不齿的是欺压消费者。够蠢。

My opinion is that the owner of Laurier Optical is trying to use its chain store power to crash the small store. I do not support this kind of competition style (不讲手段尽力打击).

Besides, does anyone know that the owner of Laurier Optical is not Chinese? The use of "真 光 眼 镜”and open a new store right across from the old "真 光 眼 镜”also tell you something about this person's personality (够狠).

老板好象姓池（？）。合同到期后，池老板不再延续与Laurier Optical合同,搬出原店址，开办了现在的真光（TRI OPTICAL）。＂真光＂被池老板注册－－－－－－－－－－－－－－－－ 加拿大可以注册中文名吗？我以前学的好像不行，有没有学的深的，解释一下。

去年我收到过新真光眼镜店的信，特别声明它是连锁店。我一直是在池先生的店配眼镜，新真光眼镜店还没去过。总的来讲，我对池先生本人的服务还很满意。

Last Saturday (Jan 20, 2007), ........

...The saleman said he wrote me a ticket because .....
I feel that the ticket issued to me ....

I have a question:
Is it not that only police or commissioner (a city worker) have the authority to issue a ticket. How can a store owner issue a ticket? My understanding is that a store owner has to call the city. If so, the store owner has to keep a watchful eye on his parking lot. What a guy!

你应该出庭，准备两张真光店面招牌的照片。估计写票的人未必敢去，就算他也到庭，你胜诉的几率也有90%。

I think you should try to talk to the city clerk first. With the photo, you may be able to get the ticket cancel already. It is the mistake of the city that they allow two store to have the same name. The city allowed Laurier Optical to register "真 光 眼 镜”which was already registered by Tri's Optical. This issue is still under appeal. With this fact in mind you should be able to get the ticket cancelled without going to court.

BIZ有权开罚单，但是这种罚单不是交通部那种的。你不交，国家机器不会来找你，BIZ只能通过小额法庭追债。

I don't know 中文生意名给不给注册! From what I know looks like Ottawa city does.
From my understanding, 池先生 wanted to get out of Laurier Optical after a 10 year contract. There are many reasons for getting out of Laurier. One of the reason was that the owner of Laurier Optical is a very tough business man and 池先生 would like to have more freedom in running his own business (e.g. be able to order his own stocks not just get them from Laurier).

池先生 wanted to keep the Chinese name ＂真光＂ which was his own creation. He used this name for 10 years and only his own store used this name (The owner of Laurier is not a Chinese and does not use any other name with any one of his other stores). So, 池先生 went ahead and handed in his application to trade mark "真光" with the English name "Tri's Optical". Laurier also hand in their application afterward with "真光" with the English name "True Vision". According to what I heard was that Laurier used a different font of "真光" and the city staff (of cause don't know Chinese) couldn't tell that the two "真光" were actually the same name and accepted the application.

Now after review, "真光" 注册 by 池先生 was approved by the city but Laurier is still appealing. The owner is using his chain store power try to fight this. The fight is not finish yet!
