两天前刚给草坪施的肥会不会被今天的雨水给冲走了？早知道晚几天再施肥:blowzy:

雨不是特别大的话应该没事吧。不是说fertilizer是slow的，每到下雨才发挥肥力吗

Hello LZ, spring has come this year and almost all snow melted. Your post was started on 2011 and very useful. Could you tell us what should be prepared now? Any changes? Thank you.

Only thing I did little different from 2012 winter was just before snow I would cut the grass very short and bag them without leave anything on the ground after all leafs were gone. I spread the seeds and fertilizer and let snow cover them over the winter. It worked well. The seeds had the snow melt water and germinated early. And no raking is needed at spring. It thicken up the lawn and reduce the weeds.

And the new iron based weed killer works OK. A weekly walk around with spot treatment works well.

什么都是第一次，第一次搬到渥太华，第一次开始学习养草，没有工具，没有割草机，什么都没有，现在开始认真学习。

今早，发现草地10来处似乎被翻动过，露出很多黑色泥土，这个是土里的害虫还是什么老鼠之类的虫子，似乎要吃草根；如何办呢？

目前这个季节，是不是撒seed的时候啦？在没有草地的地方，补点sod?如果没有雨水，每天浇水两次？
