[问题] 在ottawa或者hull养一辆普通的车大概多少钱一个月啊？

如题。感觉ottawa交通不太方便，等冬天冷了问题更严重。想了解一些养车的费用情况，看自己买辆车是否能养的起，收支能平衡。谢谢！

In Ottawa you are looking at $200-300 full coverage a month for insurance, in Hull u are looking at $50 - $100 full coverage in insurance, you make the choice.

Gas will be little higher if in Hull, since u have to drive and u can always get gas from Ottawa.

Everything else would be the same, oil change and regular checkup/fix will be the same price.

我在ottawa上学，如果买了车当然在hull住也可以。这样汽车保险是算Hull的还是ottawa的呢？另外，我是g2驾照，住到hull是不是要换成Qubec的驾照，也要再考g牌吗？还有请问楼上的朋友，full coverage是全保吧？如果只保第三责任险大概是多少钱呢？谢谢啊

hi, I go to Carleton U, and I live in Hull, i have a 2001 Jetta, 3rd party coverage for me is $36 a month. When u live in Hull you can go get a Quebec license. A G2 in Ontario when switched over to Quebec is a Quebec Full License.

I have g2 license, I should change g2 to Qubec driver license first,
then go to buy car insurance?

Doesn't matter, u can get ur car first and insure it then switch later, its all the same. You need a few things for switching tho, like driving record, passport, 2 proof of living in Quebec, 1 proof of living in Ontario etc, so get those before u decided to swtich
