I don't think your friend is not that stupid like you think.=I think your friend is that stupid like you think. ,right?

Correct: I don't think your friend is that stupid like you think.

I mean he might have some reasons but doesn't want to tell you. Who knows what reasons?

i don't think their stupid, some ppl they just follow others, i guess you saw that too,

oh, sure ,everything is possible, also some ppl pointed it their "stupid", but i have a different view, i do see some ppl just follow, they just follow others.

But you draw a conclusion from a posibility (as you agreed with me). Is that fair to your friend?

Following has following reasons. I rarely saw a rich man follows a beggar, or other way. Like you said "everything is possible" but may rarely happen

ok, I just phoned my friend and asked him: "you voted Libral last time and you told me others told you we chinese should vote for Liberal always, but why?" he said some ppl told him Liberal treat chinese well, then i asked him you know any deatil ,any example? he said not really since other ppl said Liberal treat chinese and immgrations well , so it is kind of nature recation for him to vote for Libera too.

could you please tell me where you saw my conclusion? and what is my conclusion from your point of view?

You have drawn a conclusion or an asssumption that your friend was just a follower (i.e., lack of political thinking or independency), without considering the possibility that your friend did not bother to explain to you the reasoning for his vote.

and now you drawn a conclusion or an asssumption that my friend did not bother to explain to me the reasoning for his vote.
so what is your point?

I did not draw a conclusion that "your friend did not bother to explain to me the reasoning for his vote".

I said:
"Maybe your friend was thoughtful, but did not bother to explain to you the reasoning for his vote", indicating a possibility.

You agreed:
"oh, sure ,everything is possible"

You further alleged:
"i do see some ppl just follow, they just follow others".

My point is that the assumption that another individual is a follower in casting a vote is improper and disrespectful. Casting a vote during an election is a complex process which involves the consideration of many factors, e.g., "being treated with dignity by the Gorvernment, lower taxes and a good relationship between Canada and an individual's mother country of origin, just to name a few. Each individual has a differrent priority list. Maybe "treating Chinese well" happened to be on the top of your friends's consideration list. It does not mean that he is a follower when he echoes with others' reasoning.

Nobody is brighter than others in exercising their civic right. Nor are you brighter than your friend in dealing with such matter. Each of us shall cast our votes from our heart, for the success of Canada, for the prosperity of Chinese community, for the long term bright future of our children, and for the dignity and respect that each Chinese Canadian deserves.

Each vote counts, and each individual matters!

I got to go for the day, bye.

Well said!!!

Let's vote for the dignity and respect that you and me, each Chinese Canadian deserves...
