in fact, Canada does not has its own culture, and this country is allowed any one brings in one's own culture and encourage multi-culture to grow in order to enrich the life of living in Canada, you should treat this country like your own county, love it, protect it with your own way.
this is not a army place. you are welcome to express your culture as long as you can live harmony with others.
To cook own culture food, it does not loose any face,

but pizza was from Italy, is it a perfect food? what if Italian say, "Italians,please do not make Pizza in other country, it looks very messy, the tomato sauce look ugly, it will make Italian loose face by making pizza in Canada. we should protect own face by looking up what Canadian make for food."
then they do the research to find out what guide line should follow regard what is call decent way cook food, after months research, finally, they find out the real Canadians are en-nuete, who are originally from China-and now live in north part of Canada, holy! what is going on here!,,,,
