我注意到，这里的生意人，做生意都爱扎堆。

律师楼，大都在市中心；车行，集中那么几个点；中国餐馆，当然唐人街最多；做零售，都想挤进大的购物中心。

做餐馆的地点，选择人们能路过、看到你的餐馆的机率越高的地点越好。靠近一个生意红火的餐馆，未必是个坏主意。

and lots of chinese families with good-income in this area.

Barrhaven has many Chinese but there is not any reasonable GOOD Chinese Restaurant. However, Barrhaven has many Chinese Take Outs, Canadian Chinese food.

There is NO authentic Chinese restaurant in Bayshore/Britania park area. Golden Palace and Wong's palace are both westen style... I have to drive to China town for real Chinese food!

我的意见是:
1.开餐馆也行,要选好地址,不要在餐馆成堆的地方,但要是商业较多的地方,现可供参考的地方是College squire, 和merivale+meadlead的地方, 此处居民多,商业集中,学生多,华人多,很少或几乎没有餐馆.
2.开餐馆,搞得好,利润大;搞得不好,很辛苦;该行业关键是有好的厨师,人工成本大.
3.想做生意,如把握不大,可先做一些小生意,较保险;当然现在可做的商品不太多,但尚可有些选择.

如果你不面对讲广东话群体，也就是说不做粤菜，无论你做何种风味，哪怕你的餐馆就开在唐人街上，那也将是死路一条！

指望讲普通话的大陆移民或小留学生来吃饭？你的餐馆准备关门吧！

Basically it is very true. Also, your targeted customers should also include Canadians (who are used to 粤菜 already).
