天冷，晚上听到滴水声

天冷到-１０度以下，晚上夜静时，听到不停的滴水声．应该是CＯＮＤＥＮＳＡＴＩＯＮ，白天搭梯子到AＴＴＩＣ，但也找不到滴水来自哪里．

斑主,　请问这水滴可能出自哪儿，问题严重吗？

请问HEAT REGISTER是啥东东呀？做啥用的？

I have the same problem at my house.

My theory is due to the law of the physics, the heating ducts expand and shrink when it is getting hot and cold. When the furnace is ON, it is hot, when the furnace is OFF, it is cool. You hear the sound at the beginning of the heating cycle and after the the heating cycle, but not during the heating cycle. right?

and by the way, it does sound like water dripping.

HEAT REGISTER is the point where heat goes to house.

Field-catcher, thank for sharing info. I tend to believe you. But I am not sure. Is there anybody having same issue?
