1. 千万别去全记车行，小工的态度极差不说，技术实在太烂。去过一回修刹车和发动机机油盆，直接导致返修三次，多花了一千多刀。劣质刹车还装不好吱吱叫，机油盆装不到位导致漏油。惨痛教训啊！！！
2. 一抹黑技术似乎好些，但是价格并不便宜，而且老板人不太地道。约好了时间去修车，等了两个多小时才上架，完了老板一看有短频快的顾客来了就让偶走人下次再来，实在不讲信用。

如果在一修车行修车，发现有问题的话，应该把车开回同一修车行返修，让他们搞好。您为什么把车开到其他地方呢？

您去“别的修车行返修三次”，说明另外一家也没有一次搞定。

对付这里的车房，发现问题开回去，什么时候修好为止。如果是同一个活，不应该多收手工费。

最近车蹭了，车门有变形。去了三家Body shop做了修理预估：
Otto's Collision Centre
Capital Collision Centre
Turpin Collision Centre

去第一家Otto一估算，$2500左右。这次事故是我全责，但对方车基本没事，没有交换保险公司等信息。所以我可以自己掏钱修理。因为估算大大超出了保险的deduction，选择了报告保险公司，这样保险公司出了修理费用的大头。后面去了另外两家做预估，根据每家认为需要具体换，修项目的不同，费用有点差别。换算成做同样的修理，则差不多。

因为修理费用不是考虑的问题，没有去小的body shop。最后在Otto做的修理，结果比较满意。根据另两家做估算时的介绍，我觉得如果在他们那儿修的话，也应该有同样的结果，修以后看不出修过的痕迹。

根据这次的经历，还有一点值得推荐的是保险公司的1st at fault protection，一年多付$60，第一次自己全责的事故，保费也不受影响。这样可以报告保险公司而不用担心涨保费，由保险公司承担修理费用的大头，自己只付deduction。我用的保险公司是Belair。

I also have 'the 1st fault accident forgiveness' option in my car insurance policy.. However, be aware of that, this forgiveness feature is only appliable to the current insurance company. If I switch to another insurance company after an at-fault accident, other insurance companies still consider that there was a at-fault accident in my driving record.

第一次有责任事故是说你本人，而不是你的policy。 当然跟着人走咯。

不要跟保险公司和银行耍小聪明 =)

I just had my passenger's side mirror installed by 全记车行. Not only they dirty my car, but also damaged/broken my passenger's side's door small pocket. They just glued it back and with dirty glue!!! They didn't mention it when I got my car and I only found out myself few weeks after the job is done. They are not honest! DON'T USE 全记车行!!!

这就有点误导了。

168 后面的Ming，陪朋友去做过安检，没在那里修过车，技术怎么样没有发言权，但感觉他们很诚恳，收费也便宜，一般的车行做安检要7、80吧？ 他们才收35。

你那个安检是个什么安检暂且不说。安检和修车混淆了可就误导网友了。我只提一点，Ming的人工费是$90。诚恳倒是真的。去不去看着办吧。

中华车房给我车装两次轮胎，我很满意。

Went to 中华车房 to check for oil leak before (2008). Engine oil is dripping, about a drop about 10 sec. They quote me to replace several engine gasgets and quote about $300.

Then I went to Augo Dragon at Gladstone, which replaced the oil pan nut for about $10.

I do need to clarify that there is some thing
1. Engine oil dripping after an engine oil change 1 day earlier
2. There is moisture at rear part of the engine block, but those are not the main cause for the oil dripping.

So, 中华车房 told me that I have to replace everything in order to eliminate the dripping. That is totally not true as the dripping should be related to the nut, and not caused by other gasget in the engine block.

Although it is good to replace all engine block gasget, firstly, they are not the cause for dripping. Secondly, they should at least tell me that is recommended, instead of insisting that is the only solution

In short, my recommended shop is Auto Dragon at Gladstone Ave at Parkdale St. Anyone has bad experience with them before?

My car is 1992 Honda Prelude, which is very old, and many mechanics are not so experience to repair. So it always is a challenge to find a mechanics who can identify the cause in short time
