nnd

It is $5 if you trade any non-Canadian stock.
If Monday have 1 trade(buy or sell), $5
If Tuesday have 0 trade, $0
If Wednesday have 1 trade(buy or sell), $5
If Thursday have 5 trades(buy or sell), $5
If Friday have 100 trades(buy or sell), $5

It's not per trade $5.
Hope that explains.

Think you for the explanation. Just want to make sure that if there is no additional fee for Canadian stocks.

Registered accounts, including TFSAs, holding USD will be charged $5 each day USD securities are traded. For more details go to the USD in RSP information page and the FAQs.

Opening a new account is easy.
Make sure you choose TFSA, both USD and CAD when asked.

Since TFSA is a registered account, there are some stocks/option cannot be traded.

How do you feel about this online broker?

Interface is not good.
It is good for non-frequent traders.

I opened a TFSA account with them and trade mainly call and put options.
It's been good for me so far.

Thank you for your response. I am a non-frequent trader.

By the way, is there any hidden fee besides commissions?

be careful of depositing CAD but trade US stock for the first time.
make sure you read how your account setup before trade or you will lose quite a exchange rate fee.

Thanks. I do not have plan to trade US stocks for the time being. Canadian stocks only.

I am considering to open a TFSA account with then. If I open it online, how do transfer fund into my account? And TFSA is the registered account, how does CRA know it?
