在房东家门口摔成骨折，请问房东是否有责任？

楼主自己说，“不知为什么他们家门口的停车场地面上有一大块冰，因天黑看不清，所以不小心踩上去，摔的比较狠。”

自己找保险公司问一下就知道啦，这个是liability，只有house insurance有。你说的renter insurance只管几万的property。
还有，这是摔跤的和保险公司间的事，楼主就算找律师，律师也是告保险公司，（不过我认为没律师接这摔跤的事，值得吗）你们干吗非要说是人和人之间打官司？
基本险只管几万的property的是HomeOwner Insurance，是房东出保险费的部分；管这类事情的是租户的保险，若是租大公司的Apartment话，一般出租方都要求租借方上这个保险，以减少可能的纠纷。
终于看明白了，为什么他们咬在一起了。
第一个没把话写明白，”如果是整房租的话“， 应改成 “如果是整栋房出租的话”。 而第二个好像跟这房子有密切的关系，听成整人的“整”，急了。
这第二位究竟是谁呢？咋这么急！
这并不重要，重要的是那位焦急的妻子得到了有用的信息。
还有，如果认为摔跤的想讹诈的话，觉得自己也想挣这外快，赶快到麦当劳门前去试一试身手。弄不好就成百万富翁哦，如果能把自己摔成痴呆的话。

I think,
1, if land lord is a good person, nice to you, better take it easy. we all are Chinese, be kind to each other;
2, if you are a immigrant, then there is free for hospital fees.
3, if you do not have job, which means you do not have income, whether not not you are sick, then, you do not lose anything. insurance will not pay a penny to you. as you can not proof you lost any thing because of break angle,,and taxes payer help you take care of hospital bills, this is canada. not USA.
4,best off thinking about getting rich from others. it may lead get nothing in material wise, but a greedy reputation-if offend you, sorry-what i am saying is the reality
5, proof, how can you proof you broke foot in the property of your landlord place, not some other place?
6, how do you know you can win? if you win, how much will you get? not matter you win or lose, who will dare rent you place later?
7, if you do not believe what i say here, then ask for lawyer-free half hour, as the lawyer if he/she can guaranteed you win the case.
8, only lawyer write down the promise note of winning, then you spent money on lawyer. remember, lawyer is a business man, he/she can say anything to get you in door, and pay the retainer of 1000 to 2000, then give you invoice, regarding the time he spent on,,,then tell you need such such evidents...you can not lie, else, lawyer will just say sorry, not my fault, u waste his/her time, and get out of situation with good paid from you.
9, new immigrant...old immigrant,,,, to be success, try be honest,,,work hard..and down to earth....never ever try to make enemy if there is not worthy reason for that...
10, best best thing to do, is try to talk to landlord...you may gain more support then try to think something else?

the question is, did you get that? 100,000,
happen twice, you get rich. next year, whole family go together, become Mil-er...haha, Canada, very well protect business, gov. need them to pay the taxes. if what you say if true, then homeless get a slip, have enough money pay the house....
if you can get 100,000, then you have to prove how effect you life, for how long, what portion of income you lose...some, get money not that easy...have to prove you worth that much in such period of time...dear ,,wake up,,there are more important things to do then try to get from others pocket...
