Job Description:
The Canadian Council of the Blind (CCB) is currently looking for an individual to fill a part-time/full time position as a Website/Graphics Designer.
CCB is looking for the candidate for the ongoing development and management of its website and to undertake specialized graphic design projects on an as-needed basis.
We are looking for a dedicated individual that displays a reliable and positive attitude, showing creativity in their assigned responsibilities. The successful candidate will have the ability that will allow them to bring expertise, initiative and creativity to this project.
The successful candidate will perform the following duties:
- Develop graphic design content for brochures and marketing projects;
- Serve as the primary technical resource for web development;
- Develop and upload new web content, graphics and other web-related features;
- Maintain website content on a regular basis;
- Format/edit documents for posting on the site;
- Manage site feedback, concerns and revisions as suggested by fellow employees and senior management;
- Act as a technical resource person for fellow employees with respect to routine troubleshooting, support and related advice/information.
