求助:400K以上的房子HST的问题 - 大家来说说!!

关于HST,有何新消息?

各个BUILDER说法不一,政府有没有正式文件出台?比如五十几万的房子,明年七月一日以后CLOSING,到底怎么上税?政府有没有REBATE之类的?请高人指点!
 
According to my findings from the web, the new HST will be applied to only new constructions of $400K or more. In the old system, each new construction is subject to the 5% GST which is already covered in builder's listing price. When HST will be introduced next July, an additional 8% tax will be required of each house. But at the same time, customers will get a 75% rebate of the 8% tax they paid. The net effect is about 0.75*0.08 or 2% additional tax to be paid on the full price of the house after July 1.

另外,有人和TAMARACK签订购房合同,知道Tamarack是怎样解释的?
 
这有什么好烦的?如果不想补交HST的话,买房签合同的时候顺便加上一条,closing date在明年7月1号以后的房子所产生的任何税款(GST,PST,HST)均有builder承担。具体能谈成什么样,那就要看是哪个builder和自己的功力了~:D
