One more found at Rogers free Chinese 频道 : 592 HuNanTV

Occasionally I found another free Chinese channels – WOWTV at Rogers TV channel 808. It is a Toronto multi-culture TV and have more local Canada news. http://bbs.comefromchina.com/forum43/thread689723.html

It speaks Chinese after 5:30pm and evening time (In Mandarin and Cantonese and always have Chinese characters at bottom). It may have other time speaking Chinese.

Please note: to get this channel, you should ---

Do you mind to let me know how can you get the one year free digital box?? Are you a new customer of Roger when you get it? Or you have to sign any contract? Thanks![/quote]

One day of last year, Rogers call us and said we can update our basic TV service into digital one and we'll have one year free. I told them I have a HDTV, they told me I can use HDTV digital box as well and as non-HDTV box -- free for one year. After then, they times give us some programs (channels) free (for 3 months, etc.). Those I post free Chinese channels above are I found them free, not Rogers calling us free programs.

One friend got a same call from Rogers just a few months ago. I hope now they still offer it. Just call Rogers and have an ask.
