TNC Development Group (TNCD) in Ottawa provides the Industry Canada funded post-secondary student(s) intern to work with us in adoption of information and communication technologies for increasing productivity and competitiveness. Based on the theory and practice of multinational companies, TNCD conducts the projects related to Technology, Networking and China for the development, research and services.

Qualifications

l Experience with website design by using HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL
l Experience with website logo and banner design or flash Ads design
l Good Internet marketing skills and mailing list management experience
l Good knowledge of Open Source CMS (content management system), such as WordPress, Deupal, Joomla, etc.
l Familar with Discussion Board or BBS website management such as phpBB or Discuze
l Excellent language (English or French) skills, and Chinses is a plus.
l Excellent communication and team work skills
l Marketing promotion skills and product sale experience is a plus.

Students interested in being a part of this intern program must meet the following criteria:
  • be under the age of 30;
  • be enrolled in a post-secondary education program (or have recently graduated from such a program intending to return to school;
  • be pursuing education in information and communication technology-related field where IT knowledge and skills are important, e.g. business, e-commerce studies, and computer science;
  • be legally entitled to work in Canada (this includes permanent residents of Canada but does not include those awaiting permanent status, or persons with temporary work visas, such as students who just graduated with temporary work visas); and
  • be willing to compete for the positions on a full-time basis
