住房事故处理咨询-急！

昨天晚上做饭的时候接电话，没有关水，没想到下水道有点block,结果水溢出来一些.谁知道水居然渗到楼下一家人去了，然后楼下的来抱怨，当时我就解释了，也赔礼道歉。他没说什么就走了。

今天见到大楼经理，说被楼下的投诉，我也承认是我自己出的错。但是大楼经理告诉我说楼下需要提出经济赔偿（因为把他的厨房弄的很是混乱，需要清理)。。

然后现在我想和楼下谈谈，结果他不愿意和我谈.看样子是真的要提出经济赔偿了

请问我该怎么办？请问，这样的事故大楼是否也有责任，因为楼板渗水..

My suggestion:Ask for your downstairs, if you can help he/her to clean it up.
If they say no,let them to make a list for you.
I don't think everything you have to pay off.Just talk and talk.Maybe it will be help...

其实大家都是邻居,对方既是无心之失,何必揪着不放.风雪,我想这件事你虽然不是有意,但如果真是造成了对方损失,多少还是要负责任的.最好先亲自道歉并看看对方的损失有多大,(防止无耻之人乱要价)如真大到要赔钱的地步,就和对方商量一个合理之数.不合理的部分坚决不付!
关于你的大厦,我想是没有责任的.

Before you pay the money to them, please do the following things first:
1. don't upset and calm down
2. go upstaire and check everything in that guy's kitchen. for example, microoven, floor, refrigerator, etc. check these things carefully to sure if they are damaged by water.
3. if those things are damaged by your water, you can write down a list and negoiate the payment with them.
4. if nothing is damaged and his kitchen is just mess up by your water, i suggest that you make an apologyto him and clean up his kictchen.
5. if nothing is damaged and he still wants you to pay him money, you just tell him you can't do it because it is not reasonable. if he sue you, prepare yourself to fight.
6. the last point i want to tell you is that some canadian natives or other immigrants are assholes.if you really did somthing wrong, you must be responsible for it, if you don't it , ignore it. it is canada, the law will protect you. good luck.

今天回来以后，找到大楼经理，大楼经理告诉我说对方要100块，并且不要再去他们家了

我说需要对方提供damage report，然后我要咨询律师(legal aid)后之后再给答复.大楼经理同意。

一切看来要等几天才能确定。

在学校太忙，没怎么找更多的住房委员会之类的，找到一个给学生提供legal aid的联系电话是：562-5600。

也算是自己的经验，大家可以借鉴一下，碰到类似的情况的时候妥善处理。

说真的，我觉得水不多（或者可能是地板透水性能太好），而且没有损坏到什么微波炉等，只是告诉我一片混乱，感觉上有点黑我，现在他要100我也烦了，真不想给他。

等他拿出damage report后我再去咨询一下..

我也住Apartment,就在昨天，房间里的热水器内部炸啦，回家时，发现水漫金山。 Closet里的皮鞋，还有书，和其他一些东西全湿了。和Apartment的manager 交涉， 竟然告诉我。Building is not responsible for this. 让我找保险公司，真是气愤。

我住的Apartment要自己交热水加热费用。热水器是Building 统一安装的， 搬来就在那。
