They may sell the other leg separately for a higher price. You may notice that the lobsters sold in some Chinese stores have one front leg too.
Maybe, but I doubt it. I really couldn't find recipes in other cultures that have duck leg as a special dish. Also, duck leg tend to be skinner, not a high weigh value. Also, most Chinese store sell duck wings, not duck legs.
I tend to believe it is due to packaging reason as frozen ducks need to be tightly packed and duck legs tend to tight and sticking out, bad for packaging. This is just my theory.![]()
