Sigh, why people born in city should have more privilege then? if you don't consider it as discrimination.

已经说过了，没有绝对的公平，你是想回到人民公社的年代？如果你觉得这些是不应该有的特权，你为什么要享受这些权利呢？为什么你不去还给别人呢？
诚如你所说“We are extremely lucky to be living at better places”

你经历的事只能说明执法有问题，而这条法律本身并没有不妥。没有人大喊着不要别人冲进他家乡，只是这总是得有个限制，加拿大难道对移民没有限制吗？
至于配不配，只怕你还没这个资格说！诅咒反对你意见的人滚回去你就舒服了吗？你的同学倒没说错，不想被气死就要多练炼…

很同意，暂住证本身没问题，只是执法的问题，如果大家要攻击执法人员，我无所谓。

那是否应该城里人搬到乡下去就是合理呢？
早就说过了，过量的民工涌入城市，民工的生活只会越来越差，你是否真正过心他们的生活呢？当然民工的生活差不是你的切肤之痛。

Tell you the truth. I DO have friends who were "ming gong". I do understand how they survive in places where many people consider them as "problems".

For the selfish reason. I still have relatives living in country side, therefore, I must speak for them.

I do not know where you got this from. If this is from the government-controlled media, I highly doubt its accuacy.

I do agree that overly crowded city is a problem. But the way to controll the population should NEVER be physically sending those from countryside home. Like you mentioned before, increasing the living cost should be a solution. Then those who cannot afford the rent and those who decide not to pay the high living cost WILL move out.

Frankly, I do think everyone should have the same right as me. I don't agree that I should have less privilege than others, though.

I do hope someday guys like you will be restricted to go beyond your city, especially if you dare to visit any conuntryside villages, you will apply for a 'visa' otherwise you will be detained and insulted and spitted and fined. Ha,ha...

农村为什么不限制呢？因为人口没成为那里的问题，如果成为了，要限制人口，搞visa我绝对没有意见。

Can you put some more reasoning in this logic? Because
过量的民工涌入城市 -> 民工的生活只会越来越差
doesn't make much sense to me.

This is almost like saying:
I am going to see a movie tonight because tomorrow is Friday.
I don't see much relationship between your reason and conclusion.




这些人就是民工了。
Then they will move out themselves. You don't need to FORCE them to move out.

I think I can answer you this question:
1st. You never paid any tax or contribution or what so ever to the federation.
2nd. If Canada accepts you as an immigrant / refuge, Canada will take its responsibility to take care of your basic living needs.
3rd. Based on the first two points, Canada has its rights in every aspect to choose what canadiates it wants to choose.

You can compare these 3 points with that in China.
1. Is it true that CHINESE peasants do not contribute to China ?
2. Does any city government take any responsibility to maintain the basic living standards of those peasants works or even its own city residents ?
3. Based on the two points mentioned above, .....

You know what I omit, right ?

This is much better. BUT:
过量的民工涌入城市---》城市环境，治安下降----》市民怨声载道------》市民仇视民工---》民工在城市的生活只会越来越差 --- > ming gong will move out --> the city needs more labors --> some ming gong move back to city --> too many ming gong in the city -->....
Eventrually, there will be a equilibrium where the City Natives and the minggong can live peacefully and happily.

To me, this is a much better solution than treating "minggong" as criminals and send them back home unconditionally.

Wrong! A government's top priority is to maximize all citizens benifit.

Tell you what, China has BIG population problem right now. The fastest way of decreasing the population is to start a war. Would you think it's a rational solution?
