请问电视机连电脑的那个HD15-HD15cable怎么分male和female？

第一次买这个线，看见这种cable还分male接口和female接口的，很不解。

我是想把笔记本电脑连到液晶电视上，说明书上说的是HD15-HD15cable。

我个人理解有15个小针眼的那个口应该是female的，电视机后面的那个接口也是15个小针眼。

那么我是不是应该买两个接头都是male的？

male的话就是两边都是15根针而不是15个针眼的那种？

是不是只要是这种线，显示效果都差不多啊？还是说质量好一点的（可能贵一点）显示出来更清楚一些？

数字的好一点。因为显卡产生的数字输出，如果要是模拟传输的话，需要通过modulator和demodulator，会产生一些失真。当然啦，也要好的显示设备才能看出区别。一般颜色层次比较敏感的图像，比如那种浅色到深色连续过渡的画面，失真的图像会出现水波纹样的色斑。

下面这个是eizo的演示图片，说的是现在的DVI和displayport接口的差别。模拟传输的水波比第一个图片还要离谱得多。

刚查了下，这个sxga和vga还不一样啊，两个参数分别是分辨率和像素总数，该买哪种啊？

最简单的方法：两条都买来，回家后插上一个一个地看，比较一下子啦，眼见为实嘛。留下好的，退掉差的。

我的笔记本是wxga, 1280乘以800的，

这个是不是要用那个sxga的啊？sxga是1280乘以1024的，似乎管用。
那个vga是640乘以480的，那样是不是会不清楚？

真是搞不懂啊，这些东东太专业了。

You get what you paid for.

As mentioned above, SVGA and VGA cables have big differences.

The cheapest one is VGA cable, 6ft around $5 to $7, that is NOT gold plated, it is very easy to identify, the one without gold plated connector is cheap vga cable and outside cover is not black, (white or grey)

The SVGA cable normally is gold plated, coaxial and use many shielding layers to enhance transmission, the price, of course is higher than VGA cable. When you check the connector, it should be golden color（ｇｏｌｄ　ｐｌａｔｅｄ）　and the cable is heavier than cheap VGA cable. the price of such cable is around $8 to $15. The outside cover of cable is usually black.

Even for SVGA cable, there are different qualities, single shielding, double shielding, triple shielding. So the price also varies.

For old computer, VGA is fine, for computer/laptop bought in the recently year, you had better go with SVGA cables. When we compare the same quality stuffs, Factory direct price is NOT the best in the town. You need to check local guys around you at office, they know where to go.

The one in the picture is not gold plated, some manufactures saved this processing of plating gold. It could be coaxial and with some multiple shieldings.

You had better select gold plated. the non-gold plated, picture quality is fine at beginning, later with the time going on, you will see dimmer effect on the screen. Most of good quality SVGA cables use gold plated processing during the manufacturing.

HD15和HDDB 15是不是同一个东东啊？晕了

HD15 and HDDB15 in your case are referring to the same thing.

HD15 means High density 15 pins.
HDDB15 means high density 15 pins and DB15 is technical term describing the number of pins. Like DB9 means 9 pins, DB25 means 25 pins.
