我是怎么学会"I‘m pissed off"的?

没错,是在Facebook上和一个90后的CBC聊天的时候捡来的,从此如获至宝,大用特用....

直到有一天,我的金发老太太Tutor对着一班淑女们郑重其事的说,在座的Lady要记住,和Human Waste有关的词汇,不应该从我们的嘴里说出来啊。
比如说.....

“难道非正式的聊天也不可以吗?”

老师答曰:“ Jess, you are going to be wealthy and decent, right? Then Never use this word."

天哪,就在最近一个相当正式的Presentation上,我还用了"pissed off",

要知道我的中文听起来可是地地道道的淑女呢,只是因为不求甚解,滥用英文,贻害无穷~~

To be a Decent Person, start from the choice of language.
 
I guess, to be a decent person, we should start from establishing a nice mind.
It does not matter for a good person saying something dirty occasionally.
But it does matter for a bad guy always equiped by good language and nice behavior, which only exaggerates his power of damaging things or cheating people.
 
Swearing is an indication of lack of vocabulary. It's the use of one word to represent thousands of meaning.

(淑女)Pissed off 要慎用;但Screwed up要禁用。
 
所以学俗语俚语,需要多研究一下,这个词儿是怎么来的。
不能听别人说,觉得是什么意思,就不分青红皂白地拿来借用。
 
'Pissed off' is a rather mild swear word.
'screw-up or screwed off' is slightly more vulgar swear word.
In a familiar circle, both of them are acceptable, even for ladies.

其他女人么,有时也得装装淑女呀。
尤其是工作场合,还是淑女一点比较好。
 
以前的大老板有个女秘书,人很好,也很漂亮,工作上遇到棘手的事情,喜欢说: "F@#$ me!" :D:D:D
