Some of NDP's ideas/proposals are actually supported by a lot of people, such as:
- Withdraw from Afgan immediately;
- Reduce/cut the funding for F-35 fighter jets;
- Spend more money on more doctors/nurses;
- Rollback company tax rate cut (16% back to 18%);
NDP is attracting a lot of votes from all parties:
- Those who hate Lib but not happy with PC.
- Those who stick with Lib because NDP was too weak.
- Quebec voters who like NDP's reasonable stance.
Anyway, Layton said everything in the right way that Canadians want. On the contrary, some other leaders are still playing old political games that many voters hate.
I may seriously consider NDP / Layton if they can destroy Harper's majority dream.
