Need an air conditioning this summer and want to know if this brand good? How about the Noise level, Quality and reliability?
Any one use this brand? please share your experience.

It is actually very quiet comparing to other brand. I think it is due to the fact it has a larger body than other brand ACs for the same size. I think this is good since it doesn't have to move the air as fast as others.

I know few people had it for 4 years (5th year now) and they are very happy with them. Haven't heard any complains.

俺家是ACX，邻居家是XC，在屋子里的听都一样，没什么声音，在机器边上的话感觉也没差很多，所以俺觉得ACX足够了。经济实惠性能有保障，不差钱的话就另说了。

GoodMan or Lennox A/C

I am shopping around for the A/C for my new house and am dizzy with the price quoted please help to make decision.

2.5 ton. 13seer. installation included. tax extra

GoodMan--around $2000
Lennox ----I have 2 quotes, one is $3050, the other is $3500

Is it relly true that Lennox is 50% better then GoodMan ?

根据我们自己的使用经验来说，Lennox确实比GM好很多，50%better算是个什么的比较法，而且上次团购2.5ton. 13seer的也就2千2百多，如果Goodman真便宜到50% 也就1千1百多，那我还是会考虑的。
本来去年buildinghome上老外组织的团购我们就想参加来着，后来回国回来晚了没赶上，今年Cobalt组织的比去年还便宜，还有什么不满意的？
Goodman我倒是了解过，只有一些小公司或者个人比较喜欢用这个牌子，资质认证要求很低。

I have some questions for the families who had the Lennox A/C installation completed from the CFC VIP group buy 2011. Would you please share of any good or bad experience . Thanks again

1. Was the A/C installed by a professional installer.
2. How was the noise level of your new A/C ?
3. How do you satisfy of this group buy dealer over all ?
4. Do you know this dealer has a 24/7 repair services in Ottawa or not ?

根据我们自己的使用经验来说，Lennox确实比GM好很多，50%better算是个什么的比较法，而且上次团购2.5ton. 13seer的也就2千2百多，如果Goodman真便宜到50% 也就1千1百多，那我还是会考虑的。

This price is before tax right? after tax will be around $2500. The good man is only $1900 include tax. $600 difference is huge to me. still thinking which one should go with, reliability or price.

I think we are on the same boat. Looking for a reliable A/C on a very tight budget. As for a new home owner, lots of things have to buy on my list.

If the group buy price is $2200, that's a very good price compared with the two quotes I got from the other dealer.

Right now I am really want can have some body reply my post about the CFC A/C group buy 2011 experience.

Please let me know your final decision. Thanks

如果XC的话，不同吨位的可以差出6DB，这个得查说明书。

1. Was it installed by a professional installer ? Yes, we are licensed refrigeration mechanics or apprentices. We will provide this to individuals who request this.
2. How was the noise level of your new A/C ? This is on the website from Lennox. It depends on the model and the load of the equipment. When the load (temperature outside is hot) the unit (from any manufacturer) will be louder, under smaller load they will be quieter. Unit have excellent low decibel ratings
3. How do you satisfy of this group buy dealer over all ? I don’t have anyone complaining….do you know if any of the many ac installs have yielded any complaint that were dealt with in an unprofessional manner?
4. Do you know this dealer has a 24/7 repair services in Ottawa ? We have a dedicated service and maintenance crew…what about the other guy?

Is it relly true that Lennox is 50% better then...We’ll first of all we are not priced at $3050 for a 2.5 ton 13SEER Lennox system (I will not publish our agreed price on the internet).
There is a point that needs to be made: The Goodman product is a popular brand to install because you require no dealership! Anyone can back into Goodman and say that they are an installer and get product. I personally believe that Lennox is a better company than Goodman but if the Goodman is installed to factory specification it may also be a good air conditioner. The problem is… that if Goodman sells to anyone and Lennox only sells to factory approved dealers, who will get the better installation? If you are a gambling person…the odds are in your favour to get a better install from a Lennox dealer (don’t get me wrong, there may be bad Lennox installers as well…it’s just less likely)
So….to answer the question, If you have to buy 2 air conditioners for your home because of poorly installed equipment, instead of 1 which was installed properly, in the first place, you are cheaper with the Lennox!
So, if you know the individual will do a good job….take a chance and buy a Goodman
