怎么订机票（从上海到渥太华）

本来是想好在渥太华订给父母来探亲机票的，今天打电话一问价格高得惊人，单程需要1040元，因为旅行社说航空公司不给他们从中国来的优惠的票价。请问有经验的人士你们是怎么订票的。谢谢大家多给有用信息。

It is better to buy tickets in China if you leave from China. It is the same thing as if you want to buy a ticket leaving Ottawa for China, but you want to buy the ticket in China. I had your problem before.

One way ticket? be careful. cause the immigration officer might stop the from the port of entry since they may doubt your parents will not go back after end of visiting.

Usually, there is not much different for one-trip or round ticket in term of the price.

So, if you parent eventually need to come back China or plan to visit China later, you better book a round ticket. Also, if your parent hold visitor visa, you better book round ticket for them.

It is unlikely you can book a one-trip ticket from Canada to US, or it can cost more than 1000 dollar. Though, it is usually a few hundred for a round ticket.
