如果你的室内到了零下4度，也要冻裂的。我知道一家冬季去古巴度假。走时把暖气关了。回来后家里几处水管冻裂，都淹了。室外的80%会被冻裂。
winterize就是把通到室外花园和车库的水管开关关死(一般在地下室顶上。顺着水管找到最后那个开关就是)。然后一侧有一个小铜钮。宁开小铜钮, 把存水放空（可能就一两滴）。完了。今晚就该干这个。

PEX vs. Copper Piping
Some Advantages of PEX Are:

8. Since it is flexible, the pipes can be bent around most corners and usually won't need a coupling or fitting
PEX Has Some Disadvantages that You Should be Aware Of:
1. It cannot be used outside
2. Cannot be recycled, due to its shorter life use
3. It provides an impermeable membrane that may allow the possibility of water contamination
4. The pipes may be damaged if left outside for a long period of time
The Advantages of Copper Are:
1. Durable and flexible, making it easy to install
2. Safer in natural disasters
3. Weather and bacteria-resistant
4. Resists corrosion, more so than other metals
5. Unaffected by ultraviolet rays, so it can be used outside

铜管最后一个缺点"4. Copper can freeze and break during cold water "
是什么意思？cold water再cold怎么也高于零度。不懂铜管怎么会被冻裂？如果这里应该是weather的typo（白字），那用在室内的PXE/PVC也照样能被冻裂。应该是共同的缺点。BTW，这段英文有出处吗？
