I mean 'one' not 'you'. Don't use an individual case to negate all minority workers.

LZ is destroying someone's livelihood in order to justify his no-pay behavior.

我没觉得楼主哪里不对，他郁闷着呢，还不许发发牢骚？他不也没提这人的名字吗？再说了，我觉得提了没什么的，给别人一个警示。这里大家干什么不都得上网查查review或者reputation什么的吗？一个contractor肯定不会让所有人满意，但是如果不满意的人多了，那说明这个contractor就是有问题。

你或者你周围的人肯定没有和任何中国contractor有过任何不愉快的经历，所以才这么说。

因为不是自己住的房子，房客催。而且，人家说啥，就是啥吧，我们又不懂。这280是包括修马桶，补洞，刷漆，这都是他自己承诺的。他自己说的，他修马桶，刷漆，装修木地板，什么都做。

This doesn't justify your despicable behavior of not paying him and then come here to ruin his reputation.

I said it is fair to share experiences. However, refusing pay and then publicly ruining a worker's reputation is disgusting.

It is by all means normal to complain. However, this LZ refused to pay for people's work and then come here to ruin the worker's reputation.

I don't think this is fair. I think this type of behavior is disgusting.

Pay first and the come here to complain !

I never used any Chinese contractors. I don't care it's race related or not, go ahead report my discrimination against bad Chinese handy man if you want to.
Chinese are good at a lot of things, but to be a good handy man is much more than waiving a hammer.
Most of Chinese handy men here didn't go through proper training like local guys. They were just forced to do this job to make a living. And they could be good doctors or engineers back in China.
Let me ask you a question: How Chinese guys can immigrant to Canada because they are good handy man? Because they got "handy man" training and diploma back in China?

Just a reminder, you said "the Chinese contractor in Ottawa society are not able to do qualified job".

Report your case? If I saw a boy peed on my driveway, I wouldn't report it to anybody.

我可不可以把比较满意的那个师傅的信息公布一下？他不一定最好，但凭他的经验，为顾客着想，走的路线很好，没有最先就大动干戈。

这位师傅的专业水平值得怀疑。一楼的Ceiling发现漏水，最基本的反应和逻辑是120%确认二楼的水管和马桶没问题，才能扒开一楼的Ceiling。来了就直接在Ceiling上开两个洞？ 倒找钱我也不会找这样的水暖工。

本来天花板是那种有麻点的，他说他弄不了，那我说算了，我回来和房客通融通融，只要刷成白色就可以了。后来，就是来糊弄我的。我说他刷的不行，他说他就这样。

你知道有多气人。

修修补补是很麻烦，

，去租个做麻点的工

具和compressor最少70多；为保护室内东西不被搞脏要花至少2小时以上（按前边

那位说得每小时70得140）；破损那片周围天花要用纸遮盖；做出来之后的麻点有可

能跟以前不完全一样。

If you refused to pay and the contractor accepted, this is a fair deal.

However, you don't then publicly defame the contractor. This is not fair.

This is type of behavior is cowardice and despicable.

如果没毛病，你觉得该收多少呢？

我外行，不知道有多少活儿，没法给具体的估价，但好歹是用过plumber，大概的谱儿还是有的。如果真有兴趣知道准确的估价，建议找三个licensed plumber分别估个价。

我觉得当然可以。你看到了好的review，坏的review，最后雇佣不雇佣，其实决定还是自己做的，谁也怨不得。雇佣了有过好的评价的contractor，结果有了不愉快的经历，也应该公布出来，让其他人知道有过这种情况发生，让别人在做决定的时候有更多的参考。

I can't tolerate bias towards minority workers. I think we have the responsibility to give them a chance. In the long run, it will also benefit us.
