谢谢！ 不过恕我直言，不知为什么都你的回贴总是感觉很奇怪？
我倒不是说你一定要和我的看法一至，只是似乎你根本不知道我们在讲什么，确总是一副教训人的语气，似乎非要”教导“谁不可。

所以我想说，如果你的这个教导是真对我的，那么，”谢谢，不过请收回”。

首先请问你知道吗？我从未因为遇到这位DR.CHAN 而连带牵连其他所有华人医生，我的一切言论只是针对她一个人而已。我觉得你的心理似乎不正常，从爱把别人针对某一个人的看法，凭空想想扩大到针对一类人和一种人。

请问你觉得我是在这里抱怨么？大错特错！要不总有真正的高人建议某些“特别爱动辄教导别人的人先去“做一个好的听众”呢？
相信你只需理解了文中的一点，就会知道，我不过把自己的不愉快的经历SHARE在这里，想问一下大家是不是有同样的经历，也想让后来人知道DR。CHAN的情况，至于大家还会不会到她那里，当然由大家自己决定。

You listed your bad experience at your family doctor. I just shared my pleasant experience with my family doctor. Anything wrong?
Please look at my post carefully, did I comment anything on whether your family is professional or not? The only thing I comment is that "arranging 2 or more patients in 15 minutes" which is also what I experienced at my family doctor. I really feel sorry to know that my pleasant experience at my doctor annoys you.

When I posted my unpleasant experience at newsgroup here or in company. Usually I got reply saying he/she had positive experience there. I won't be annoyed. What I did is to ask how they did. Thus I learned a lot from them and feel better.

我认为她在15分钟安排两个人完全正常。这其中有个习惯适应问题。我的家庭医生也是说广东话的。开始去她那里看病时，也发现她的病人特别多，跟她约6点，要7点才能看完。刚开始我确实心里有点怨气。但是我看到很多和我一起等的鬼老，和广东人非常安静的在等，没有听到谁抱怨。他们有的人和我一样被退后了。我还算是脾气好吧，就和护士聊天，她们说由於有部分人约了没到，所以在一个时间段安排两人或两个病人的时间段交叉。我以后就挑特别早的时间或午饭后的时间，没有遇到什么不愉快的。

后来我发现我们和这个家庭医生关系越来越融洽，她对我们的孩子映象很深。我发现她对我们的态度也越来越好。我认为情绪是相互影响的。

在大陆时，医生没有CANADA医生那样的地位，我们从大陆来的，或多或少这种感觉会影响我们处理问题的态度。在国内很多事情可以用PUSH和红包来加快，这里不行。

另外这里有的习惯，专业人员会非常反感你当场用别的人员的意见和他对比。你如果对他的判断有任何疑惑或怀疑，只管CHANGE好了。这个道理和同警察打交道一样。警察让你把手举起来，只管举就是，之后再投诉。这是我在CANADA工作生活的感受。

terry，我的感觉是这样的。我也认为她在15分钟安排两个人完全正常，但安排了就要能基本按时间做到。象bill说的从4：45等到6点多就过份了。守时是一个起码的proffesional manner，不能因为鬼佬或者广东人都在安静的等就说明bill不应该对此complain，毕竟这个不是walk in clinic，在国内我们去看病也会为这样的等法报怨，这和push或红包没有任何关系。

就我个人的感受，说广东话的和说普通话的在沟通上会有问题。168肉柜打工的和你说话时就有类似的腔调，这和他们的语言习惯有关。应该是双方互相习惯和适应的事情。我认为你说的类似“吾日三省吾身”的方法做为个人修养是好的，在bill这个特定的例子上没有必要。我们尊重其他人语言习惯，但也希望得到其他人对我们感受的尊重。适当的complain就是一种表达方式。就像前一段时间的渥太华广播问题，也有人说那是他们主持节目的习惯表达并不针对中国人(这个例子是不是有些过了)，我们的complain就告诉他们了我们的感受。

Hi, Guy,
As I wrote in my post before " 事实上以老太婆的效率，她根本不可能15分钟内看完一个病人！而她却间隔15分钟安排两个人，本身可能就不对！" Do you know that even I waited there for more than 1.5 hours and I did not mad at this at that time.
The most important is this is NOT the key point in my previous post and it is NOT the thing I want to complain to Health Dept.
I think we need to notice and find the key point when we talk anything, not focus on some sub-topics which maybe only one word.

The thing and key point I felt wrong with her is her attitute and professional !

and for you latest post about why I feel strange when you mentioned about your doctor and ...., please, read my post you just quoted into your last post.

You listed your bad experience at your family doctor. I just shared my pleasant experience with my family doctor. Anything wrong?
Please look at my post carefully, did I comment anything on whether your family is professional or not? The only thing I comment is that "arranging 2 or more patients in 15 minutes" which is also what I experienced at my family doctor. I really feel sorry to know that my pleasant experience at my doctor annoys you.

When I posted my unpleasant experience at newsgroup here or in company. Usually I got reply saying he/she had positive experience there. I won't be annoyed. What I did is to ask how they did. Thus I learned a lot from them and feel better.

When A posted his/her unpleasant experience at one place,
in Eastern Asia culture, B may be thought as offencing when B posted B's pleasant experience. While in Western culture, B should be fine.

B "should" describe his "worse" experience to make A comfort.

I saw lots of things like this proving my view.

No offence to any party.

When A posted his/her unpleasant experience at one place,
in Eastern Asia culture, B may be thought as offencing when B posted B's pleasant experience. While in Western culture, B should be fine.

B "should" describe his "worse" experience to make A comfort.

I saw lots of things like this proving my view.

No offence to any party.

Let's say eventhough you conclusion is the truth, whats wrong?
I think both western and eastern culture are reasonable, right?

But do you think the guys here to talk about the topic are Chinese or Westaern?

For me, B's pleasure experience won't bother me.

Are most Chinese people bothered with someone's saying his/her good experience?

No.

Just a portion of people "may" care.

"Too sensitive" won't make people happy.

I have tons of "worse" experiences here, if those can make people happy, I am willing to share with you guys.

Should all Chinese get other's satisfaction by telling his much worse experience? Is that the merit of Eastern culture? I don't think so.

That is a kind of bloody truth.

I used to work with one guy C in a team. We used the same compiling environment, at one meeting, C said he had problem with the compiling, manager asked me "How was your shared library built?", I said "my compiling worked". Then C doesn't talk to me anymore.

Next time, I had similar things with people from eastern asia, I said I "did" have issues there. Then everyone feels happy. I lied, then everyone feels comfort.

Funny!!!
